A unique collection of cine film from the 1920’s to the 1960’s paints a fascinating picture of life in Wolverhampton in times gone by.
Among the many films included in the DVD, we see busy scenes in the town centre in the 1920’s when trolley buses plied the streets; celebrations for the jubilee of George V in 1935; a look at the town in the 1950’s showing Queen Square and the streets around; a tour of Wolverhampton in the 1960’s showing a town in transition.
This DVD presents a unique opportunity to look back at the way we were, to reminisce, to marvel at how things have changed and to give younger viewers a fascinating glimpse of the past.
