The History of Smethwick

This DVD looks at the surprisingly rich and varied history of Smethwick as it grew from an insignificant country hamlet into a teaming industrial town. Containing much original research, it also describes the far reaching changes of the post-war period, telling he story through both the present day landscape and archive material.
